Summer school in Parma, Italy; June 16-20, 2008:
“A Primer in Ecological
Networks: Theory and Practice”.
The summer schools
aims to introducing ecological network analysis to graduate students and young postdocs: from data
collection to theoretical analysis, using a wide array
network types (food webs, ecosystem models,
plants-pollinators networks etc.) and mathematical and
statistical tools.

Course on: "FITTING EMPIRICAL DATA TO NUMERICAL MODELS: UNCERTAINTY ANALYSIS"
The IMAR- Institute of Marine Research and the Department of Zoology from
the University of Coimbra (Portugal) is organizing a course on: "FITTING EMPIRICAL DATA TO NUMERICAL MODELS: UNCERTAINTY ANALYSIS" , which will take
place from 30th of June - 4th of July 2008 in Coimbra (Portugal).
The lecturer is Christian Damgaard from the Department of Terrestrial Ecology,
National Environmental Research Institute (NERI), University of Aarhus,
Denmark.
All lectures are in English.
